KINE 231 Library Tutorial

This guide is intended to support students taking Donna Perry's KINE 231 course.

How do I identify and brainstorm keywords to search?

When you search in the library's databases, you are essentially word matching. The database looks for the words you enter in the titles, abstracts, and full text of articles. This is why keyword searching can be really helpful when you're looking for articles on your topic. Watch the video below to learn more about how databases work, and how to identify the keywords within your research question before you start searching.
