Questions to consider when creating your own positionality/introduction statement:
- How will you acknowledge your position or identity in relation to the work that you’re doing?
- Are you able to share about your own ancestry? Consider how this may inform/impact your current thinking and work.
- Can you provide more context (e.g. Is there an experience that led you to this work/ research?).
- What is motivating you to do this work?
- What is your call to action?
