Historica Canada’s Chief Joe Capilano: The Squamish leader who inspired a century of activism
“Temíxw” (translates as “land, earth, dirt) - Museum of Vancouver website hosts a diversity of stories, important places, and traditional knowledge taught to Chief Ian Campbell by his Squamish and Musqueam family members. Chief Campbell selected several Squamish stories deemed appropriate for sharing with museum visitors and local educators (*Note: we’re invited to listen to him tell these stories but they do not belong to us, so we are not meant to (re)tell them ourselves).
Musqueam Community Interviews. Musqueam community members discussing issues of importance to them intended to be a resource to learn more about the Musqueam people and culture directly from the Musqueam. These videos belong to the Musqueam community and the teachings/content is the intellectual property of the speaker.
