Connecting Google Scholar to CapU Library
If you add "Capilano University" in Google Scholar, under Settings > Library links, you'll know which paywalled articles are available through CapU Library subscriptions when you see CapU Connect to Full Text links on the right. You'll have to use that link to get access to the article.

Google Scholar Advanced Searching
An Advanced Search interface allows you to specify author, journal title or date range. You can also get email alerts when new articles matching your search terms are added to its collection.
You can also try these commands:
- OR works between related search terms to broaden a search, but related search terms should be in brackets. For example, (teaching OR learning) participation
- allintitle: brings back results where all words appear in the title. For example, allintitle:(teaching OR learning) participation
- intitle: only looks for the word directly following the command. For example, intitle:(teaching OR learning) participation
- use - to exclude search results with certain words. For example, (teaching OR learning) participation -engineering
- filetype: finds specific file types, an easy way to exclude or include specific formats like PowerPoint presentations
- filetype:ppt - only brings back PowerPoints
