Media Services

If there is a film that you would like to use in your class but neither you nor the library has a copy, you can email media@capilanou.ca to request for the library to purchase a copy to add to the collection. Please send us your requests at least two weeks before the date they are needed – we may not be able to fill them otherwise.

For all requests, please provide the following information:

• Film title
• Format requested (Streaming, DVD, Blu-ray, or Any of these)
• Date(s) needed
• Course(s) you plan on showing it in

Please note that there will be instances where we will not be able to acquire a film because it is simply not available. Also note that not all films are available in all formats. That said, we will do our best to locate a copy and get it to you.

In some cases, if a film is not available for purchase anywhere, we may be able to borrow a copy from another post-secondary library. Please see the Media Interlibrary Loans page for details.
